I'm looking to move from Sky to EE but looking for advice on whether the standard or apple box is best. Also, if I want tv upstairs, do I need to buy two boxes?
I think I will lose the ability I have with Sky Q to go upstairs and resume watching a programme that I have saved to my box - is that right?

The Apple box is the better box, but it can’t get all the Freeview channels you can get over an aerial, just the selection provided by EETV. Also, it can’t record.
You can get round the first issue, if you have a TV aerial, by plugging that into your TV and watching any channels the Apple box can’t get, directly on the TV, though you can’t pause and rewind that way.
If you have a TV aerial and you want all the Freeview channels with pause and rewind, or if you want to record (whether or not you have an aerial), then the Box Pro is your better option.
And yes, if you make a recording on the Box Pro, it’s siloed to it, and you can’t resume it on a Box Mini. Though if you watch a programme On Demand, you can put it down on one box and pick it up on the other.
