Got my Full fibre broadband installed today. After a few frustrating hours trying to set everything up i am still having issues with EETV and in particular Now.
I have the Now entertainment package and can view channels through the Now app on my TV, but not if i try to view them through the EETV guide. If for example i try to view Sky Atlantic through the EETV guide (channel 342) the following happens
a message pops up saying “you need to set up Sky Atlantic or add it to your TV package. Press OK for more info”
pressing OK brings up a screen with some general blurb and a button saying “ Get NOW channels on EE TV”.
Clicking that results in an error message “ Sorry there’s been an issue. Try again later, or to order a new package today please call us on 0800 800 150. BTP-19002”
This happens for each NOW channel that i am supposed to be able to view.
How do I “set up” the channels, so i can view them through the EETV guide rather than the app? I shouldn't need to add them to my package as they surely are already part of it. I am not finding the EE app or the Website particularly helpful in solving this issue.

I’m suppose to have sky cinema and it’s showing code BTP-19002

You're on the Entertainment package @Morgan992 - this doesn't include Sky Cinema. You'd need to upgrade to Big Entertainment for it to be included.

Hi Darren, I'm having the same issue with my tv. I'm meant to have the big entertainment package but it's not working.i also can't set up my parental settings on my smart hub due to just getting the loading ring constantly

@Lp591 I can see you've called in regarding this issue, and a fault is now under investigation for your order which it stuck. I cannot help with the parental controls, but your TV channels should at least work for you now.

I'm having the same issue. I ordered the package through a comparison site which directed me to BT site. I've now got my equipment setup and I can't watch movies. But yet in the description of what I was allegedly buying as a package showed these channels. Can anyone shed any light on this matter please. Because if we can't get the movies on the entertainment package it's false advertisement.

@Jimmy2185 you'll need to switch to the 'big entertainment' package or add sky cinema as an add on

I think that the advert that BT have advertised on the fibre 2 entertainment package needs rewording. You can't advertise a package saying your going to be getting these channels and then to find out your not and you need to pay extra for them.

That seems to be a BT offer, but you are posting on the EE Community. However, @DarrenDev has kindly informed me that this doesn’t matter.
It's still very confusing for all of us as to when EETV across the two is the same, and when it is different, but it doesn’t even seem to depend on who is supplying the broadband; it’s still all the same.
So I wonder why there are still two separate Communities; perhaps it’s historical.
If you can kindly name the comparison site, though, we can look and see if the offer is misleading; 15 is an awfully small number of movies, and Now were putting out a very few movies, even on the Entertainment option, which people found confusing. But there’s not quite enough context in your screenshot to show how the movies entry sits with the offer above.
[Edited to drop suggestion of moving Communities]

@Midnight_Voice it really doesn't matter which forum you use. The moderators are the same. The base product is the same too - the only thing that differs is the subscription packages and offers, but they can all still be discussed openly on either forum.
