Upgraded box, downgraded remote

I’ve just upgraded from the BT TV 4K Recordable Box to the EE TV Box Pro, and as far as I can tell, it’s got a worse remote. The previous remote had the option to skip forward by a minute, and back by 15 seconds, and also to turn the TV off. As far as I can tell, the new one doesn’t have these options, only fast forward/rewind rather than skip.

You can hold down the ffwd or rwd button to skip, but in my experience it's not that reliable.

You can still use the remote from the old box, or they're available to purchase online.

You can also use the number buttons to jump through the content in 10% chunks.

I have just got the upgraded box and like you missed the 60 second jump 15 sec rewind, I found it by accident, the circle with the ok button left and right arrows and the fast forward rewind buttons can be used for the 60 second 15 second rewind by holding the arrow required, if you hold it down it will skip through quite quickly but with practice it can be just as good as the old one. Tried adding a picture but wouldn’t let me. Hope this helps.
