Apparently, the UKTV Channels are going to be available on Freely (the IPTV successor to Freeview). Is there any likelihood that these may now be available on EETV on internet mode? 🤞

@SoupDragon57

You really ought to know by now that even if there were, EETV would never preannounce it 😛

@Midnight_Voice Very true, but doesn't hurt to ask. We've not seen any new free to view channels added since internet mode was launched. Given that they're being added to Freely, it looks possible...

@SoupDragon57

You could just wait, and then watch the stuff in the U app 😛

It would be great if these did appear..

As these are going on Freely, it doesn't seem impossible now as originally it was commented that UKTV were asking for too high a price.

If they weren't and Freely began to offer a reciever box in future, EE might loose out competitively.

@Midnight_Voice the app is all good and well but you can't beat the linear channels in my opinion, or perhaps I am just old fashioned minded.

Is anyone else still seeing the old app for u play?

some apps are so outdated

The logo on screen has updated but when you click the U app it still shows the old UKTV interface. Will this ever get updated?

Hey there @d4ky77 😊

I don't have any details to share on when this will be updated to the new interface just yet, but can I please double check to make sure the app is working as intended for you otherwise?
