Hi @DavidMeese

These are the channels available and if those channels are not listed then they are not available.

If it's the pro box you have and you have an aerial you can reset it to get more channels including the U ones, but you will loose out in more HD channels

You would have to plug in an aerial and use the box in traditional Freeview mode where U&Drama will be on channel 20.

Hi,

are you using an EE TV Box Pro ?

If so did you choose to set it up for Internet streaming or Aerial ?

I did the former when I first got mine and quickly found that a number of channels were missing because they don't have a license to stream them.

If you are already on an aerial, I discovered it is possible to have "too much" signal going into the aerial socket!! The first time I tuned the channels, I found that all the ITV channels were missing. I had previously read a comment about this signal level thing and although I was skeptical I thought "well I'll give it a try" so moved the aerial cable off the distribution amplifier that I have and onto the dual-socket where the aerial connection come into the living room. Re-tuned the channels and lo-and-behold they were all there!!

Hope this helps

My box is in internet mode as my aerial is still plugged into my TV. Reading through this to get UK Drama I need to plug my aerial into the box rather than my TV? Sorry to sound stupid but I’m coming from Sky Q where it’s available without any apps or tv aerial

Well, Sky Q does need a satellite dish instead of an aerial, but I get your point.

In this scenario, you should plug a terrestrial aerial into the TV Box Pro and if you wish, then connect a cable from the aerial out port on the box into the TV if you want to be able to watch via either.

See the instructions here: Set up TV Box Pro (and Mini)

As I understand it, the two "operating modes" are an "either or" choice. UK Drama is not available in internet mode because EE don't have a license to stream it so you have to change your box to aerial mode. Yes you will have to plug your aerial cable into the EE TV Box but you can get a "splitter" so that you can plug that aerial into both.

Then according to Google:

To switch your EE TV Box Pro to aerial mode, you need to perform a factory reset and then select "Stream TV Channels from an Aerial" during the setup process, according to Goggle you have to do a Factory Reset and then select "Stream TV channels from an aerial" during the setup process.

Be careful because a Factory Reset would delete any existing recordings, I think there is an option to keep them but I can't remember the details...

Hope this helps
