Trying to activate Discovery

Morning all.

Trying to activate Discovery within my TV plan. Never bothered before but there’s a Salvage Hunter episode from this morning I want to re-watch.

Doesn't work via the app or via a browser.

Any ideas, or do I just have to wait whilst EE pulls its finger out?

EDIT:

Realised if I turn the box on (we never use it) I could go backwards in the guide. Had to do a Discovery sign-in rigmarole but now got it playing. Does this mean I’ve activated it via a different route?

Not sure if it's something to do with the impending HBO Max launch but I thought if you had Discovery plus already as an existing subscriber you'd still get that existing access after the launch.

@Minkey1 your discovery+ account was activated in October 2024, so it won't allow you to activate again.  If you're not sure what email address you used for it, you can email eetvsupport@ee.co.uk for it to be cancelled so that you can activate again.

@Weerab2024 activation continues to be available until March 26th.

@DarrenDev

Thanks Darren. I’ve used the same (and only) email for the last decade.

It’s totally feasible that I’d already activated it and forgotten, but if I had, why does the app tell me now that Discovery needs activating?
