Did you mean:

Too many boxes!

I have been with EE since September. I have the main tv box and two mini boxes.
One mini box was faulty and was replaced super quickly. Yesterday I connected it and all was well but, now I am receiving a “too many boxes” message.
I have tried calling for support but, the wait is too long.

It is just because you can only have a maximum of 3 boxes and it thinks you already have 3 and are adding a fourth. You just need to say ‘Yes’ when it complains that you have too many boxes and asks if you want to make it your main box.

Thank you for your reply.

I have two mini boxes and one pro box. Are you saying that the change out of the faulty box could be the issue? I don’t want to accept the option and cause more issues.

That is exactly what I am saying and I can assure you that following the advice I have given is perfectly safe and will solve your issue.

You have 3 boxes assigned to your account, one has stopped working so you need to confirm that this new box replaces it. If you get the same message on any other working boxes you repeat the process.

The line then knows what 3 boxes live TV should be provided to.

Thank you very much.
The box it was showing on is now working fully. I’ll follow your advice for the others should I need to.

Much appreciated. 🙂
