I spoke with Tara at EE Ireland. I am in Scotland but via the keypad on 150 I dialled through for bill queries.
I don't use this word lightly. She was amazing. Made the other phone ops I dealt with which sounded as though they were work from home trainees , sound like absolute goblins.
Anyway she tried sending the welcome to TNT sports activation text and also the link to the EE website to activate (didn't work prior to this call) any way that worked !!!
I entered the pin that I was text by her , and then created a discovery plus accounts with tnt .
E voilà I was watching sports on my new TV. 2 seconds later BT broadband (I'm a customer ) text to say " you will now pay £5 extra monthly for TNT premium package" and then EEmobile text to say "welcome to 12months free TNT sports " on the line Tara said don't worry all that is due to come out is £13 pcm for TV and sports.
If that changes she said call billing straight back .
