Connected today. TV box pro working fine in main room. We have TB box mini in a second room. We can access streaming services such as iplayer, Now etc. but it is not showing any actual channels. We have tried retuning but it says no channels available
We have full Internet in the room.
Any suggestions please?

Hi, you can set the TV box to receive channels in 2 different ways.
1. Channels received via aerial, for this you'll have an aerial typically on your roof or in your loft, an aerial socket on your wall and a cable coming from it that plugs into the back of your box.
2. Channels received via broadband, for this you don't need an aerial plugged in, all channels are streamed using your internet connection.
When you first set the box up, it asks you which of these methods you want to receive channels, I suspect you didn't realise and set it up with the aerial method.
If you factory reset the box (found in settings in the menu on the box) you will set the box up again and should see the options.

I have a mini box connected to a tv in my bedroom. I've just checked and there is no aerial socket fitted in my box.
Have you tried changing the HDMI port on the tv to which the box is connected? I know that not all HDMI ports are equal so it might be worth a try as it will cost you nothing. Generally, I believe HDMI 1 or 2 are favoured for this type of device.
I hope it works!

If the Box Mini is showing video from apps OK, it’s not likely to be the TV connection at fault.
Does the Box Pro show, and can you watch, the channels from 300 upwards in the EPG? Is so, this is likely not to be a multicast issue.
My working hypothesis is that the Box Mini isn’t working, and needs replacing.
But first, try swapping it into the place of the working Box Pro, see if it works there or not, and report back.
