Hi - new to EE TV! On the pro box, if you hit home there is a short cut to the TV Guide and a number of quick links to channels to the right of that. The BBC One shortcut takes you to the SD channel (001) rather than the HD one (101) - is there any way of changing this? Can see how you hide them in the guide but not the Home Screen. Thanks!

Unfortunately not - it's one of the first things I provided in feedback when I first used the new interface too.  I never use that channel bar now, other than a quick view of what's on (and then I manually go to the channel I want).

Thx Darren, glad it wasn’t just me! 😀 Hope they change that soon, like you I won’t use it either! Be great if the channels shown there could be configurable to your favourites.

It would be good if HD channels replaced SD channels on the guide on YouView when on arieal mode, like is the case with some newer Freeview TVs, to save going to 101 for example

I have just moved my account from BT over to EE and as part of this I keep my old BT Pro box (that was remapped to EE TV previously), returned my BT Mini and received a replacement EE branded EE Box Mini.

The EE Mini has 001 as BBC1 HD as per this chat - but my Pro box still has 001 and SD, 101 as HD.

Have tried retuning the channels on the Pro box but it is not updating.

@Herbhead

I answered with how to do this under a similar post of yours.

A trio of shortcuts to BBC1 HD :-

in the EPG, hit the blue button on the remote and move right to HD, which will put BBC 1 HD when a single move down will open it.

in BBC 1 SD, open Info from the remote, and see an option to open BBC1 HD from there.

from anywhere, on the remote press 1, then 0, then 1 again.

The last option is no more keypresses than the first two options 😛
