HD TV Guide

I have just moved my account from BT over to EE and as part of this I keep my old BT Pro box (that was remapped to EE TV previously), returned my BT Mini and received a replacement EE branded EE Box Mini.

The EE Mini has 001 as BBC1 HD as per this chat - but my Pro box still has 001 and SD, 101 as HD.

Have tried retuning the channels on the Pro box but it is not updating.

Any Ideas how I can get the Pro Box to show 001 as BBC 1 HD etc etc.

In aerial mode the Box Pro will have the Freeview  channel numbers for your area.

In  Ip mode the Free to air channel numbers are those determined by EETV.

So you are presumably using an aerial connection currently for your Box Pro whereas the Box Mini is in iP mode

The EPG lists channels in channel number order.

@Herbhead

Pull the aerial out of the Pro box and Factory reset it.

It will then show the same (restricted) range of channels that the Box Minis have, as it will move into the same IP Mode.

You may find though, that Aerial Mode, albeit with 001 being the SD BBC1, is the lesser of two evils.
