TV Box freezing

Hi, we upgraded to full fire last week and since then live TV keeps freezing about every 4 mins with a broadband issue message. If I change channels it works again but again freezes after minus. Watching BBC Player etc is fine. Only affects live TV.  Everything was fine prior to the upgrade to FTTP. 

I have rebooted router and reset TV box with no success in resolving problem.

Spoke to EE who are sending a new Box. However, from my research on here, it may be a problem with the router software that needs a patch.

Please can anyone help in resolving this issue.

EE sent me a new TV Pro  box. EE TV is still unwatchable, freezing every few seconds. Previously a ping test revealed a fault with receiving the packets of data. EE is sending an engineer to try an fix the problem. I'm not confident the issue will be resolved. The technology is inadequate BT/EE?

Hi Darreniv been with ee just over a month now and my ee box freezes intermittently on ITVX also, when the adverts are on so I have to switch back to the app ITVX on the box reselect what I was watching than have to endure another 2 minutes of adverts, this only happens with ITVX so what are we doing about this ?
