Just received our TV Box PRO and heard conflicting stories about connections. I'll be connecting by WiFi for my subscription channels, I have big sport package, but wanted to know if I can also plug the TV aerial into the box as well or should I plug that directly into my TV?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Yes - all the subscription channels are always delivered via the internet whether you choose internet mode or aerial mode. The choice you're making here is how the free channels are delivered.

Welcome to the Community, @TONYY37 👋
This is entirely up to you, a majority of free to air channels are available over internet mode, but the choice via aerial is slightly larger.
You can find all the details you need on the two options available right here:

Hi Peter,
Thanks for the reply.
So, is it OK for me to set up via WiFi but to also have the aerial plugged into the box? I did read somewhere about factory resets and losing recordings.

@TONYY37 Absolutely, you can still use an aerial connection and connect via WiFi for on demand content and apps.
This setting is just for how you want to primarily receive your free to air channels.

so this is where I'm up to. If I pick aerial will I still be able to get my tnt, sky and discovery plus sports channels and be able to record them?
