TNT Sports is moving to HBO Max

Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) have announced changes to how customers access some of their content.

What’s changing? 

HBO Max app launches on 26 March 2026.

• On 26 March, WBD will launch the HBO Max app 
• On the same date, TNT Sports will move from discovery+ to HBO Max 

What this means for EE customers

EE customers will retain the ability to watch TNT Sports. App content will now be housed in the HBO Max app rather than the discovery+ app.

EE TV customers can continue to watch TNT Sports TV channels via the TV guide as usual, and if they have a TV box Pro, Edge, or Apple TV 4K, the HBO Max app will be available on those devices from 26th March 2026 (Apple TV 4K customers will need to download the HBO Max app).

So I won't be able to access my service from the 26th so wrong I signed up to a contract with ee and you are breaking your contract with me I will seek legal advice about this with ofcom

just sign in with your existing email and password you used for discovery once you’ve downloaded hbo max or website

A couple of minor questions over the platform move for the TNT Sports.

Firstly

The Connected Red Button service on EETV currently gives access to additional live TNT Sports content and interactive features exclusively through discovery+.

Will this feature on the linear EETV TNT Sports channels  be discontinued or will the connected red button still function as before but direct to the additional streams on HBO Max ?

Secondly (and I have tried asking discovery+ help but no success yet and HBO Max support doesn't exist yet here)

On discovery+ there is My  Stuff  comprising of My List and Continue Watching which I use for identifying  past TNT Sports content that I wish to watch on demand , future upcoming events  and  obviously the continue watching events are those that I have started watching and may wish to continue in the future. Will these lists and my existing discovery+ profiles transfer across and  be available on HBO Max  app on 26 March when I logon orvwill they need to be setup afresh ?
