Sky Glass Tv, do I need to revert back to aerial to connect to EE

👋 I have left Sky and obviously switched to EE. I have set up the SMART HUB PLUS and TV BOX PRO. I have lovely aqua light from both, but my Sky Glass tv is dormant! I have used the manual button on the tv. So, do I need to revert back to the cabel  and  get it plugged in? I suspect that I have gone wrong somewhere! Thank you

Are you sure you are past your EETV activation date?

Did you set up the Box on an Aerial cable, and then tune in the aerial channels, or did you use IP (Internet) Mode?

You should have run the supplied HDMI cable from the Box Pro to a free HDMI port on the Sky Glass TV, and then switched the TV to that channel.

Do all this, and report back.

I have set up WIFI connection, do I need Ethernet connection too 🤔 There is no power to the sky glass tv, remote doesn't switch it on!

My activation date is today and it's live! I was contacted by EE and given the green light.

A WiFi link will suffice; no need for Ethernet as well.

Power to the Glass TV is a separate issue that you solve as you did with Sky; switch it on at the mains!

Do not worry for the moment about getting control of the TV with the Box remote; keep using the Sky remote to switch the TV on and go to the right input, and when we have established that the basics are working, we can then move on to the more streamlined stuff.
