Hi All, i have had BT / EE TV for a few years now and have not had any problems with recording series links until the most recent update on the TV box pro which changed the whole interface.
I watch F1 and for the last 3-4 yeats I have had every practice / Qualifying / Race on a " Seties Record " and never had issues.
Since the most recenr update on the TV Pro Box all my F1 Series Linls have gone, i have tried setting them up again but I no longer get the option to choose " Record Series" it just records that 1 Program. It works for some things like for Teds Notebook but not for the practive qualifying or race.
I have done a factory reset to see if that helps but still nothing.
Its the Austrian GP this weekend and When i hit the record button the "Live Austrian F1 Grand Prix Qualifying" it simply doesnt ask me the question if I want to recors the program or series , therefore I have to manually record each Qualifying each week it happens.
What can I do to get this sorted as it is quite frustrating!
Manu thanks !

It's not an issue with the software update or your box - I've just checked, and the data is missing the series information that allows recordings to be linked together.
I'll raise it for investigation, but I doubt anything will be looked at before Monday.

Thank you for your reply,
I am glad to hear that its nothing wrong with the box or software.
Thats absolute fine, no rush at all, as long as it gets sorted, thats all that matters!
Thank you again

Issues with the EPG content ( both completeness and accuracy) on EETV boxes most recently with Now channels has been occurring for several weeks. It seems that some supplier changes have been introduced and new issues keep being found. At least if the programme is in the EPG guide you should be able to set a recording singularity for each programme.
At least you checked , those on holiday etc or simply relying on their previously set series records will unfortunately miss out on their recordings,

Thanks for the response Darren, my reply is more out of curiosity since I'm a Virgin Media customer for pay-TV services.
They have a 7day SLA for these sorts of things, so if issues are replicated and raised on day x, then in the vast majority of cases they're resolved and pushed out by x+1 on a 24-36hour basis.
I'm slightly surprised EE-TV have no escalation path with metadata suppliers on an OOH basis.

Hi there. I have the same problem and it is very frustrating. When will this be sorted please?

Just to update on this: the issue was already known, and had already been raised to the data supplier. We don't have any update on when the data will be fixed yet.

I've just received an update to say that it should be fixed now. From my sampling of a few programmes, things are looking good.

Thank you, I can confirm that this is now working on my end so yes it is fixed !
Thank you

@DarrenDev There is some improvement with some programming that was missing the series CRID data now having this data but there are still several examples of the data being missing.
EXAMPLE Sky Sports Cricket HD Live 2nd Test Match Day 3 has the data 04 July but Day 4 doesn't on 05 July
SEVERAL live Cricket and Golf programmes on Thursday 10th July are missing the series linking data.
Given that the 10th July is the latest day that the EPG has currently received data for it is concerning that the problem still seems to be occurring on the latest programming data.
