Second box offer.

Hi. 
I took out eetv last week. I was offered a second box and said no I will wait and see if I like it and the. Call up. I have now called up only to be told I can’t have a second box. 
at no point did the guy in the phone tell me this at the time when I placed my order. 
what’s more I spent ages on online chat talking to another guide who told me I could do it! As a result I have now had to cancel my eetv. Above been told the only way I can get the offer is to cancel and start again. So frustrating! Any one else has similar issues. I’ve been with ee for too many years to remember. But this seems like a bit of a kick in the teeth.

Some agents aren't as knowledgeable as others. 

You certainly can request another box, but not another apple TV or pro box as it is only one per customer. 

You can get upto 2 mini TV boxes though. 

If its not too late, I would advise phoning up and getting through to another person, and request a  'EE Mini TV box'. 

You can't record or view any recordings, but you can watch the channels in IP mode as well as your other subscribed channels, and use the catch up apps.

@Daveread @Weerab2024 I did exactly the same when I first took out EE TV and declined a free EE mini box. However after using the system for a while I decided that I would like one. I called EE and a customer representative (Greg) was very helpful. He was unable to add it directly for me but said he would talk to the TV team and look at another pathway for me to get the second box. I received an email from him an hour later saying he’d achieved this and had set things up for me to receive my second box. Also received a confirmation email from EE confirming the order and dispatch. Really impressed with the service and response. It may be that some of the representatives are not as experienced as others as has been suggested. Might be worth trying again and letting whoever you talk to that this is possible.

I spoke to another guide yesterday who lifted the cancellation and said I could absolutely add another box. The only problem is that I would have to wait 24 hours for cancellation to be lifted and then Call back! I asked if he could add lots of notes. So that I wasn’t sent down another long road. Which he did. 
I called back today. Explained the situation and asked for her  to read my notes. After being put on hold for sometime as she needed to speak to her line manager. She came back and said it can’t be done. 😢 however I could do after 28 days of start of contract!!! By this point I had run out of steam. The slight glimmer of light was that she had offered to call me back on my eligible date to sort it out! So I still have one box for now ( Apple TV) and hope to get my mini as soon as they say I’m allowed! 
so many different guides with so many different answers. If the answer is no - great! If the answer is yes - great. What’s not great is the inconsistency. So fingers crossed for next month. 🤩
