Remote issues

I have reset remote and re paired with tv box . Channel up and down and sound now works  but tv will not turn off. Hold down power button and box goes off but TV remains on. When press power again the box comes on but has lost link to sound and you have to pair remote again to get sound to work again.

Is it me or a faulty remote

I don’t think it’s you, but it could be the box or the remote. You are doing the long press on Power to get the TV to turn off? Shouldn’t lose the sound, though.

Try resetting first, and then re-pairing the remote as here:-

If it still does it, perhaps @DarrenDev can watch it from his remote eyrie, and see what is going on.
