Is the EE TV box mini compatible with the majority of Powerline Ethernet Adapters or are there specific models that are recommended?

Whilst you can use powerline adapters (bear in mind some work faster/better than others), the recommended solution is to use WiFi.  If it doesn't reach your TV Box Mini then BT Complete WiFi / EE Smart WiFi is recommended.

My adaptors were supplied by BT with previous box.  I gather they are not now recommended but the Ethernet cable supplied is too short to reach anywhere - why?

Why what @Gerry1812 ?  Why is the cable short?  How long should it be?  For those with the hub next to the TV, it's long enough.  For those with EE Smart Wifi, it's long enough.  For those with neither, it could be 10 metres, it could be 100 metres - how long is long enough?

The recommended solution is to use Wifi.

Point taken, though I was alwayds told not to have the hub too close to tv's etc.
