Nowtv has suddenly stopped working. Can load it, but once I try to click on a channel to watch it, I get an error message: 'Your account's access to this content has been restricted'. That's the error message on the app. If I try to view via ee box it says 'Sorry we're having a problem showing this channel at the moment. Give us a call...'. Rang EE and after two hours (over 3 phone calls) they advised to contact nowtv as they don't know how to fix issue. Nowtv don't have a contact number so I live chat it and they say my account is fine and to contact EE. So, back on the phone with them now (on hold as someone is tying to figure it out for me but I'm not holding my breath). Any suggestions?

Unfortunately the EE agents are correct in saying this is a Now TV issue. We don't have any access to their systems to diagnose issues, and with it also affecting the Now TV app, it guarantees it's not an EE system issue.
Make sure the helpdesk raise a fault though, so that it can be investigated by the back end team. We can't do anything with it directly, but we can speak to Now TV on your behalf and make sure it's properly investigated.

I got through to a wonderfully helpful advisor and she set up nowtv under a different email which got around the issue thankfully!

Yes, that would have been my fallback too. Another one on the list of unexplainable issues with Now TV accounts. Glad you're sorted though.
