Now tv . Pause and rewind

Hi.

Always realised last night that on the Now TV app on my Google TV streamer I can pause and rewind live TV.  Also works on my phone 

My question is when I try it through the app on my box pro it doesn't have the function?

Also I was told today when signing up for the full works that they don't do an extra box as part of the deal anymore and you have to pay £10.  Is this right.

Another thing is Discovery HD is not part of the package anymore.    Why do EE change things so much?

@RobVally the Youview EPG is used on the BT/EE TV boxes . A useful guide is

Please note: It is not possible to start watching a live programme from the beginning if it's already running. However it is possible to Pause and Rewind a live programme whilst watching them.

So it really isn't a case of the "no longer" but rather it wasn't a feature included.

Where you opt to use red/green buttons to move away from watching the EETV live linear channel to viewing the content on a providers app eg BBC iPlayer or HBO Max you will often find that you can  restart viewing the content from the start of the (current) live event if you wish.

EETV Apple TV boxes streaming  is different - i will let others clarify options on those boxes

Thanks for that, I must of been mistaken.

My new TV in the kitchen has this function, so I may buy a new TV for the
lounge and dispense with the box altogether. In time it'll pay for itself.

Well whoever this was passed on to instead of simply removing the text regarding ‘EE TV Extra Box Offer’ they’ve updated it rather incorrectly instead 🙈

Well I've had no official response to my request.

Since they seem to be another poor example of customer service in this
country, then eventually we'll probably go for a new TV and ditch the
package.

I might give it a shot emailing my intentions, if still not satisfied then
it can be assumed they don't want the buisness.

Hopefully the text can be updated again unless there has been another change that only Big Sport or Full Works subscribers can get an additional box. 

Don't know why a change to HBO Max from Discovery plus had the caveat that new Entertainment or Full Works package subscribers would loose access to the Discovery channel.

Seems like another step backwards to me.

@Weerab2024 anyone can order 1 or 2 additional boxes, subject to the relevant charges.

Existing customers who had discovery channel at the time of migration retained access to the it, for as long as their subscription remained eligible.  New subscribers are no longer offered discovery as it's no longer sold or bundled by BT or EE.

I'd just had an email to say it was updated, but noticed that it was still wrong when I checked so I have let them know it is wrong still.
