Thanks, o dear, that’s not a great start, I was very clear and asked a number of times.

You have a 14-day cooling-off period you could take advantage of. It depends what you want out of an EE TV subscription, but you might be able to drop Now out of the EE TV package, go direct with Now for the moment, as long as you have one or more devices that support Now in UHD, and then roll Now back into your EE TV package once Now UHD is supported on the EE TV hardware.

The Pro recording box won’t support it yet at all, though the EE Apple TV box will support it, but only from Now directly; if you take Now as part of EE TV, the Now account you get from EE won’t support it on the Apple TV yet.

My LG TVs get it, my Rokus and my Amazon Firesticks get it, and my (non-EE) Apple TV gets it; though older generations of these devices may not get it, so worth checking on the Now site, under Help, what devices are and aren’t supported.

Thanks, yes I did ask about the cooling off period, I’m more interested in recording in 4K than streaming it tbh.

You might just have to play the short term waiting game unfortunately.

The pro box will get 4k Now support as they are working to upgrade them.

I have the pro and mini boxes and I think they are good bits of kit.

EE Apple TV box, EE mini box, Full Fibre 900, Sky Stream

Then your choices are to get EE TV with the Pro box and HD now, and wait for EE to implement Now in UHD on it, or to wait until EE can offer Now In UHD, and subscribe to EE TV then.

The ability to record Sky Channels via Now is the Pro box’s USP; nothing else, apart from Sky’s own offerings, can do this.

HD and 4K

£6.00

It clearly says 4K under TV extras.

Where is this 4K content coming from if it’s not from Now?

4K = TNT Sports Ultimate

Understood but I don’t have that pack, it’s a real shame that the lady that took my order didn’t answer my direct question of can I watch or record Sky Atlantic in 4K with Atmos correctly.

I explained I was thinking of moving from Sky Q and wanted like for like or near as.

Disappointed to say the least.

My EETV & Broadband Full 4k Works is due to go active on 19th. Got the pro box + 2x mini boxes.

Hope its not too long till we get Sky 4k Channels!

Is there a way of adding the now tv channels into the ee tv app? Becoming a bit of a pain having to switch between apps all the time.
