Now TV "play next episode" feature glitch

Hi. I have an EE account, recently upgraded and renewed and using Now TV app on a new Apple 4k TV box.

A very annoying thing happens sometimes where maybe 2-3 minutes before the end of an episode the "next episode starts in 5-4-3-2-1" automatic thing happens and then bye bye end of episode, 2 minutes of adverts I have no control over and then the next episode starts. I can only watch the final two minutes by either subjecting myself to yet more adverts and timing my fast forward to perfection, or resorting to watching the final minutes on my phone...which is kind of a bummer! Its not everything but certainly Day of the Jackal episode 6 is where it started to go wrong...

Any ideas?

Are they adverts - which you don’t see on catchup if you have Now Boost - or are they promos for upcoming Now programmes, which nobody can skip?

*Longtime YouView box owner & broadband customer (was BT now EE), but only recently a full EETV subscriber*

@Tomr123  Have you reported this to Now TV as it’s their service you using, EE do not control the content of that app.  just to add I don’t have this issue via an Apple TV and the Now Tv app.

I’m having exactly the same issue - also started with Day of the Jackal episode 6! Can’t seem to fix it at all.

I’m having the same issue too. It’s cutting out before the end of each episode of The Day of the Jackal. This started on episode 6 too.

I have exactly the same problem. With the Jackal. And at exactly the same point. VERY FRUSTRATING 

Yep, same problem here, which started with Episode 6. I resort to googling the summary but were missing out on final moments of drama!
