Now TV error

Hi

We recently got EE tv and had the now tv subscription. It has now stopped working on our tv and asks you to sign in to watch any programme. When you sign in it then says error on all 3 boxes and I can't use the app. When I log in on my mobile it works no problem. Can anyone help? I have already tried switching off the box and router at the wall.

Thanks

@Brucelouise I'm sorry about that, what does the error message say?

Thanks

Neil

Hi Neil

It says opps something went wrong try again and then it says wait a minute or check Internet connection. It has said this for the last 2 days.

Thanks

Hi @Brucelouise
Did the EETV work ok previously or have you just set it up?

How are you connected wireless, ethernet or using powerlines?
Cheers

John

I've just had it confirmed that Now TV released an update to their app earlier this week.  We've flagged your issue to them, in case it's related.

We've had confirmation that Now TV broke their app across multiple platforms with their updates this week - including EE TV boxes.  They're working on fixes already.  You'll get the update on your box as soon as it's ready - you don't need to do anything specifically.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

This is happening to mine now as well, it won’t let me watch anything on Now TV and just says “unknown page error” and “something’s not right. Give it a moment, or check the internet connection” which I did and everything seems fine. Is this due to another update or something

Hi, we have NOW Tv in our EE package and the app is on out TV but I have to sign in every time I want to watch it. Why? It’s frustrating.

 Thank you

@Maria12345678

Does it force you to sign in, or does it just not work until you sign in?
