Just bought a new tv and wanted to watch sky sports on ultra HD (via Now TV)
Spoke to someone at EE and they said I was paying for the UHD package, but the UHD channels are not available on the guide. When I go to the Now TV app, I can see that my viewing experience is set up as "boost" rather than "boost ultra". Spoke to a bot at Now TV and they said its down to EE, but the person at EE didn't see how this could be upgraded.
I don't know if there is something more wrong with EEs infrastructure on UHD for Sky Sports. Hoping someone here will know more.
I can see i have access to TNT Ultimate HDR though.

@ciaran_gg As a gmail user, you can use different variants of your email address. e.g. if your email address was ciarangallagher@googlemail.com you could use ciarangallager@gmail.com or ciaran.gallager@gmail.com or ciarangallager+ultra@gmail.com - all of these email addresses still come to your same inbox, but Now TV would see them as different accounts. So there's nothing to stop you setting another account for Ultra if you want. You'd then remove Now TV Sports from your EE TV package to save money.
When you say artificial limit, I assume you mean because you can't upgrade to 1.6Gbps? It's not artificial - the ordering system just can't handle migrating from your account to the new system yet.
