I am new to EE TV (3 wks) and only just found out I can use the EE TV and NOW TV apps.
My question is (as an F1 fan) is it possible to go on the NOW TV app and send a recording to my EE TV box if I've forgotten to set up a recording?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hi @4dMac
The mobile/tablet EETV app is extremely useful for setting recordings remotely and monitoring the status of your recordings.

You will need to pair the EETV app on your mobile device to the TV Box Pro. So do this when you are at home,
When opening the mobile device EETV app you should see a tab for MYTV which if selected will give you the option to select Settings which has TV Box option that should allow you to pair the device app to your box.
Once the pairing has been established (Time lag) you should be able to set further recording remotely by selecting the LIve tab in the EETV App and then Schedule tab which then gives a EPG display where you can select the channel and the programme you want to record. Assuming your TV box is in a suitable power/standby mode that it will receive the request that you have made via the app and the recording will be made.
Selecting MYTV in the EETV App you should have a Recording tile option which will show the recordings that your box has .
I’ll post a few images which when approved to view should make it clearer. IOS and Android apps have some differences in presentation.

@4dMac Not via the now app but it’s possible via the EE TV app on your phone/tablet. The EE tv app is your EE TV, the now app is just a subscription service because of having EE TV

Hi @zulu17 thanks for your reply. I have linked the app to my EE TV account but all I can see on live TV is tnt sport and world for recording. However, I have just found that if I click on Live then Schedule I see the TV guide and can do so from there.........instruction guide when first getting the app would have been helpful but at least I can now record thing if I am away from home....especially as I have found a major issue with the series link for F1 programmes so cannot use it

When you choose Live at the bottom, you then need to select Schedule at the top - this will show all channels, including the Now TV ones. You can't watch them, but you can see what's on, and select programmes to then set recordings on.
Hopefully now I've approved @zulu17 's images, it'll make it clearer?

Hello @DarrenDev I figured it out before @zulu17 posted the images but I think my reply crossed with that post 🤔 so thank you to both of you for your help 😀
