So if Freely can get the likes of Dave and Watch on their service why can’t EE?

That’s just one of the lesser reasons why I will be saying goodbye to EETV when my contract expires.

It’s frustrating that Sky stream is the only service providing HD channels via streaming  - allowing them to charge eye watering prices for what are FREEview UKTV channels.

Purely for the record as it doesn't help here, but Virgin Stream also carries the U& channels in HD. Of course their Stream box is only available to those using their broadband network.

It should also be noted that EE does offer Sky Stream as a TV option, albeit as I understand it the subscription then goes directly through Sky.

Re the price, the BBC have tended to sell the main U& channels as HD to pay networks and simultaneously keep them as SD on free to air. Over time on satellite, the majority of their channels have come out of the Sky pay package and therefore are free to air but SD as a result.
