ITV X progress/time bar

I’m watching ITV player on my tv through the EE mini box. The progress bar won’t go from the screen! It’s driving me mad. If you press back it goes back to ITV main page. No other button will get rid of it. I had to fast forward it and it hasn’t gone away.

This has been doing my head in for over a month. Only on itvx, I darent forward, pause or rewind or I'm left with the stupid progress in the bottom of the screen. I've idea how to get rid of it either

Mine has been like this since I got EE TV about a month ago! If I rewind or fast forward I’m stuck with the progress bar which I can’t get rid off. I can’t pause either sometimes.

Me too. Once you forward or rewind, the bar stays in. Just on EE box. Same app on other platforms working.

same, I have to load the TV guide, start watching something else, then 'continue watching' my recording to get rid of the bar 😑

Come on EE. Sort this bug out. Please don’t use your  customers to test your product.

This isn't an EE bug @Danjo911 - ITV create/support their own apps.

I’m getting this issue watching a recording of sky sports on my EE tv box pro. It’s recorded to its own internal drive and managed by the planner. So not sure you’re goring to fix it if you think its to do with the ITV app  tbh

You've commented on a discussion specifically about the time bar getting stuck on screen when watching content in ITVX @Danjo911

If you're watching a recording then it's a different issue - each app has their own time bar, which are all separate to the one shown when watching live TV or recordings.

I'm not aware of anyone reporting this issue on recordings, so you'd be better starting a new discussion (adding comments here means it won't be seen by the right people).  Adding as much detail as possible will help.  e.g. Does it happen every time? Does it affect recordings from all channels? What steps do you need to follow to get rid of it? Does pressing Back not remove it?
