ITV ADDS???

I'm a recent EE customer and still within the 14day cooling off period, and I'm seriously thinking of taking it!

I just cannot get used to having to watch adverts again!

My Mrs watches the itv soaps religiously and has done for over 25yrs, and being honest I watch em too 😏.

We've just got rid of sky+ after some 24yrs where we series recorded or watched em 10mins behind and fast forwarded the ads.

I've read that another subscription in needed for ITV-X and maybe I can watch without the dammed adverts?

Anyone? ......before I cancel the contract?

@Jimbob150687 there aren't any packages that include those options, and they're not available to purchase through EE. You can purchase them directly in the apps, however they will only apply within the apps - not to the channels or recordings.

Well I have evidence I was told i would be getting sky cinema and sports uhd channels. I even have an hd 4k add on

Sorry @Jimbob150687 but all that evidence will allow you to do is cancel your subscription.  We can't offer UHD on Now TV at the moment, despite whatever misinformation you've been given.

Blatant miss selling then. I was also told they have free itv x and channel 4 ad free too.

I don’t think the “agents” on chat are 1: human and 2: have any product knowledge or any tech knowledge at all. Ive just spoken to someone to reiterate what I was told and they spoke in very broken english and didn’t realise that 4k and UHD were the same thing. He also reconfirmed that Sky cinema and Sky sports UHD are part of my package, so I’ll be waiting for my activation date and sending in a massive complaint if it’s found out it’s not

@Jimbob150687 I've just spoken directly to the agent you spoke to, and will try to arrange for an urgent brief to be sent to the call centres to prevent this happening again.

Just to reiterate - you will NOT have access to Sky Sports UHD and Sky Cinema UHD. Guaranteed.

All your interactions (calls and chats) are logged against your account. I can see all the incorrect information she provided to you, including the (incorrect) recommendation that you call again after your activation date to "add the freeview channels ITV X and Channel 4+".

Yeah that was odd as well. Am I able to get itv x and channel 4 + for free as part of my account. I’m currently paying for those separately.
