Hello, added Sky Sports to my package yesterday. Was told they would be activated at midnight. I now have only SD Sky Sports. I have the £6 a month HD/4K add on and was specifically told that I would get Sky Sports in HD. I have TNT Sports in HD / 4K no problem. I have rebooted box and router / software update. Can you assist? Thank you.

Update. Despite being told my existing £6 HD / 4K charge covered me for Sky Sports, it doesn't and I'll have to pay another £6 for HD Sky Sports. Also discovered that when I added Sky Sports, I'd also been signed up for a new 2 year broadband 150 contract at £44 a month! I hadn't agreed to that so it was cancelled. Honestly, why is everything so bloody difficult!

@emcguinness67 Did it affect your overall package price on the new contract? HD is included as standard on the Sports package on newer contracts, so adding the £6 add-on to the new contract should pretty much have cancelled itself out I think? I can't see your specific renewal offers to confirm.

Your contract is about to end, which is why it proved to be slightly more difficult for you than expected.

Thanks for your reply. After cancelling the £44 BB, I got new 2 year 150 BB for £27 after a chat with the operator. OK with that. Apparently, can't get new TV package for another month as I added Sky Sports yesterday. But that's OK as it allows me to take stock over what package I want. Is there a base package of just the freeview channels? I presume if I didn't take any TV, you'd want the 4k box back?
