I was watching gb news on the app this morning but this evening all i get is a blank screen?

So far, neither YouView nor GB News have been able to reproduce this issue.
Can someone please clarify - does the app not load at all? i.e. a blank screen when trying to start the app? Or does it go blank when trying to play video?

Hi.
On the main menu click on the gb news icon. The screen goes blank. No image, no sound, no gb news menu.
Performing a factory reset through the settings menu without deleting recordings worked for me on my pro box. I haven't tried this on my mini box.
This does mean all of your settings and login details of all of your apps have also been reset.

Did anyone here NOT factory reset their box? The fault wasn't found, but it appears to have cleared itself last night - they're still trying to work out why. It'd be great if someone else is able to confirm our results?

Sorry pal. Reset my mini box last night at around 7. When it rebooted a message came up showing a software update.

Hi ssorry 4 late reply have been ill. I did online chat with EE they did a reset from their end. You prob have it fixed now but if happens again go onto ee chat x

Hi all sorry been ill.
I went on EE online chat told them my problem and they did a reset on their end so i would not loose all my recordings. Hope that helps for anything in the future. Tracy x
