I've just set up my new eetv box via WiFi and although apps are working I can't get the free to view channels. Box is within 5m of router. Any suggestions?

What do you mean when you say you can't get them? Are they not there? Or do they not work?
If they don't work, what error code is shown?

Error code IPC6023. Something to do with broadband signal but it's literally only 2m away from the hub

That error code usually means the router isn't configured right. Are you using the EE or BT smart hub router or your own? If your own the configuration needs to enable multicast.

It's working now but I none of the now HD channels will play. I understood that I'd have access to those but doesn't look like I do without paying extra! Is that correct?

If its in IP mode you do get alot more free to view channels in HD but you don't get HD for the subscription channels unless you add the HD boost at £6 a month.
If you stream the Discovery or sports channels (if you have sports channels included in your package) on the Discovery plus app, they are HD for free though.

Hi,
Did you manage to resolve this issue as I have the same problem since getting my new EE Broadband FTTP and EE TV. I am receiving apps on the TV but cannot play any other channels. I have reset the router and TV to factory settings and this has not helped. I have a good WIFI signal but also connected by ethernet just to make sure and I am getting the same error 6023 code.
Many thanks

The usual reason for this is that you haven’t been set up correctly at the EE TV end.
@DarrenDev will no doubt be on the case tomorrow, to either fix this, or to pinpoint what might be wrong at your end if the EETV end is as it should be.
