Still having a torrid time trying to record NBA Basketball on SKY. The latest challenge from last night is a complete failure to record anything with error message
Why would this be?
and no there is plenty of record space available

@Topbanana6 unfortunately the programme details changed on Thursday afternoon, causing the programme recording ID to change. Any recording requests specifically for that programme scheduled prior to that time were cancelled, as the TV Box believed it to be a different programme. If you'd scheduled it as a series, it would have recorded OK.
I've raised a complaint about this already, as the recording ID should not have been changed.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks
i have had this problem numerous times previously when I thought I was recording the series, but I will try again
Early Friday am series is set to record with the next two programs set to record as individual events
Hopefully I might get to watch the whole game this time

If you'd scheduled that NBA match as series, it would have succeeded. Scheduling individual programmes is currently less successful, as our data supplier treats changes to programme names or descriptions as meaning the programme has changed - so they give it a new ID, which causes all recordings to be cancelled. It's still marked as part of the same series though, so the TV Box would automatically schedule the replacement.
We're working with our supplier to try to improve (or stop) their programme changes.

I think a seperate series CRID is used for the different SkY Sports channels - so whereas NBA live games are mostly currently on Sky Sports Action were the current San Antonio Oklanoma Western Conference finals ( best of seven) to require a deciding Game 7 that is currently scheduled to be on the Sky Sports+ linear channel at Midnight 12:00am on Sun 31 May as there is MVP Boxing which Sky are scheduling on Sky Sports Action at that time.
So I suspect were that game to go ahead you would need either to set a second series request for that channel series or an individual recording request for the NBA games on that channel.
Of course the game 7 may not be needed - in which case a schedule change would be expected to occur sometime after Game 6 finishes on Thursday.

Thank you @zulu17
I have set up both
Tonights game is also on main event which I guess you should avoid setting series recording on as it’s most likely to be bumped off depending on what is perceived as the main watch

@Topbanana6 if you set series record on Main Event and it's bumped, then nothing will record. It won't have any negative effects, other than recording 2 channels at the same time (which will prevent you watching anything else at the time, and may affect your internet bandwidth, depending on your connection type).
