EETV Web Player stuck loading on sons PC

Hello there, my son has had an issue on his EETV Web player app. He clicks live TV and gets a constant black loading circle on the WEB player application. This has been an issue for well over a month now and fresh installs and removing known devices also does not help.

Hi @RichieRoberts20

Welcome to our community.

Was this working as normal before that time or had he only recently taken TV?

I am having a similar problem. I switch on EETV and all I get is the black loading circle. I have to keep switching on and off a few times. I have rebooted EETV back to Factory secttings. Have rebooted my TV. Removed cables from router and added them back again. The problem appears to be getting worse each day.

@Jonty1964 this thread was about the web player, but I'm guessing your issue is with the EE TV box? I can't picture what you mean by black loading circle though. Are you able to be more specific? What box are you using? What actions do you take, and exactly what result do you get? If any error codes are shown, please mention them too.

Sorry I misread the original post.

Yes my problem is about the EETV box. I have to admit since I got the box I have had no end of problems.

This issue is when I switch on EETV the screen is black and a moving circle appears. There is no connection to EETV. I witch off EETV box and switchback o and nothing happens. This goes on for several minutes. I have rest thebox to factory  settings. I have also rest my TV settings. I have rebooted the router and unplugged and replugged all the cables.

I have an EETV Box Pro. I also have a mini box that does not experience this problem

I believe the black circle is a feature of your TV - i.e. it's showing that when it's trying to find the signal from an HDMI connected device.  I've seen both Samsung and LG TVs showing something like this. I've had personal experience of this when I was using an HDMI switcher to connect my TV Box (and other devices) into a single port on my TV. I never found a solution, and ended up connecting the TV Box directly to my TV in a dedicated HDMI port.  In my case, rebooting the TV always fixed it though (hold down the power button on the TV remote until it turned off).

Could you please describe your setup?  How is your TV Box connected to your TV?  Any other devices connected, either alongside or in-between?
