Hi,
Is it possible to subscribe to EE tv without the broadband packages? We don't have a landline and will never have a decent one due to our rural location but use EE wireless internet which already streams netflix, amazon etc without any issues.
I'm looking to ditch sky tv and this seems to be a decent option.

I'm afraid not @Harper86, and there are no plans to offer it any time soon.

You don't need a landline with the latest EE New BB Full Fibre packages.
What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post just the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number or you don't have one, use the Address Checker.

You're confusing "PSTN" with "landline" @XRaySpeX. Fibre is still considered a "landline" - i.e. a physical line to the property, as opposed to satellite or cellular data.

That was confusing me! I checked that website and BT saying our exchange is not a priority for fibre. To be honest the old phone line we had could barely deal with a phone call never mind internet!
Thanks for Letting me know though. I'll look elsewhere so i can ditch Sky.

Am I, @DarrenDev ? How? I only mentioned it in context of Full Fibre (FTTP) which does not have a physical landline to the property.
I know very well that Fibre (FTTC) runs over a physical landline to the property. I have 1 myself.

Agreed - I've just checked, and you couldn't even sustain a 1Mbps connection at your address @Harper86 .
We're currently rolling out fibre just south of you and plan to start rollout slightly to the east of you soon, so there is a chance we'll get to you eventually. Probably not for at least a year though I'm afraid.

Ahhh shame. I was so so excited when I heard about this new business venture of EE TV. Superb offer and everything I watch on Sky.
Sadly I’m the same, <3mb at my address with the usual suppliers. I have to use a rural satellite option (Quickline).
My EE mobile can only get service via my broadband as the mast mobile signal for all operators is non existent. My BB speeds are a very comfy 200mb+. Sky started out like this in that their initial Sky TV offering had to use their broadband only, then they took a bigger bite of the market once their technology plan shifted. Get a shift on EE PLEASE.
I’m very happy to trial using EE TV on a non EE BB ISP 🙂

Coincidentally, we were discussing this possibility yesterday @Buxcey but there are a lot of hurdles we need to jump first. It's not going to happen any time soon, I'm afraid.

- App is down want to know if theres a problem in wallasey with broadband in Broadband & Landline
- Mis-sold EE contract and unable to resolve in Broadband & Landline
- WiFi Pro devices not actually WiFi 7 compatible in Broadband & Landline
- Hi I have just had a new EE pro gaming broadband in Broadband & Landline
- i would like to terminate my contract in Broadband & Landline
