We have box arrive and tried to setup. We already have an existing hdmi cable that sky is connected that runs under the floorboards. When connecting the ee box via this the screen flickers on the setup but is OK with sky.
All HDMI cables are not created equal and EE use a different version. You could try a different HDMI port in the TV but apart from that you would need to use the cable EE sent you.
