EE tv pro remote

I have been using 2 remotes to control the EE tv pro box but recently had to change the cabinet and now the box it within the cabinet, only 1 remote works with the door closed and the other works if the door is open? 
I have tried an IR extender but that does not appear to activate

can the box support 2 ee originals or is there something preventing the second controller (BT vision box remote)

It can support an unlimited number of remotes, but only one can be paired via Bluetooth (the one that works with the door closed).  For the the other remote, reset it (which will force it back into IR mode) and it'll work with an IR extender.
