EE tv box pro

My EE pro box is new (received within last few weeks). The other day it shut off unexpectedly. After turning it off for a minute or so and back on again, the light on the logo on the front lit up and flashed etc. It worked fine again. However, whilst watching today, it shut off again. No lights on box, no signal to tv. I feel the box must be faulty.  Can I get a replacement?

Is there any chance that the TV Box is overheating? Have you put it into a small enclosed space, or stacked anything on top of it? 

Thanks for your reply. The box sits on its own in a wide front unit. There’s a fair amount of space in there and ventilation. There’s no signs of life at all in the box.

Looking at the logs for your TV Box for the last 7 days, I can see that it has gone into power save mode a few times during the day after not being touched for just over 3 hours (i.e. watching the same channel for all that time without pressing any buttons on the remote).

It would normally present a message on screen saying it's about to do this unless you press a button, and pressing the power button on the remote should turn it back on.  You can also increase the inactivity time (or turn it off altogether) from the power settings if you don't want this to happen.

Can you please check your power settings and confirm what they're currently set to?
