I just phoned up to try and add EE TV to my broadband package and the customer services person told me its not actually launched yet and they don't know when it will launch despite your website telling people its live. It won't let me do anything online as it says there is a technical error.
Has it launched and you can take orders for it or not?

Having exactly same problems. Technical problems on the website and when I spoke to 150 they said the launch had been pulled last night and it couldn't be ordered.

Still hasn't launched apparently, but its still being actively advertised on the website (I was told that was being urgently updated on Wednesday to reflect the fact it hadn't launched). They don't seem to have any idea when it will be ready to order.

It’s only available for new customers , I’m having the same issue - I’ve been told it’s a soft launch focused on those who are signing up to ee broadband plus tv.

Tried to get TV and Broadband package today, got through to signing up but before entering payment details I got a warning that I couldn't order it online.
Phoned helpline who was unaware of the package and unable to provide it (but did offer a 'similar' package with BT). It appears that EE haven't informed the people their web site sends you to of the issues. (whatever they are).
It would be nice if the web provided advice on when it is likely to be available or indeed if an "upgrade" will be made available if users take the existing BT option.

Be wary that the BT option is not inclusive of multiroom. The guy was putting order through and it was going well - he said sure to Apple TV, he said sure to everything I asked - then when we got to the end he said so multiroom is £10 / month - I read the website to him and he put me on hold for a while then came back and said he was BT team and not authorised to sell ee tv - so he was actually selling me bt tv.
as much as i like EE; this is an absolutely unacceptable launch, it’s an absolute shambles from the top down.

Thanks for the advice.
I now see that the BT website is offering "EE TV" packages but this appears to be in name only, No Multiroom option and Apple TV+ offer is for 3 months not 6 (as advertised for the EE TV Deal).

I've been told to try again in Early Jan.
Only those changing from BT To EE now can actually order it- or those joining EE from another provider.
If you already have EE - it's a no go. This is due to "bugs in the system" - I can't fault who I've spoken to - they've all tried their best and been lovely - but the system says no and their lack of training is very evident.

Thanks for that depressing news. Looks like a bit of a wait then. 😥
I have a full fibre connection but no broadband connection (new build). I am with EE for my phone (which might actually be the cause of the problem) as I now cannot get EE Broadband/TV package. I actually went to a local EE shop and they had the EE TV's on display and assured me it was now 'live' but when they tried to order it they found that they couldn't.
I have now resorted to buying an EE Data Sim to get me through the next few weeks until EE TV becomes available.
I am actually just wondering if I should go ahead with the BT full fibre broadband connection and then add on an EE TV package?
Its all pretty crazy really given that EE seem to be refusing money even from a new user. Not many companies would see that as a successful business model. 😁

Yep, it’s all very strange.
The guy in the EE shop showed me, on my account it says eligible for EE Tv 4k , but the proceed button is greyed out.
im on my cancellation period with sky, they hiked my tv from £70 to £105 - retention deal was £95 - so they could easily capitalise on the chaos if they call back with a serious deal - however it does seem sky now do not give deals out. Fewer customers - higher prices - I guess?
