I know this has been covered many times before, but I wanted to share my experience because I was explicitly assured by the EE sales team and a manager that NOW TV would be available in UHD with Dolby Atmos on EE TV. In fact, I was told—and I quote—"They can't lie" to sell me this product.
Now, after doing some research, it looks like NOW TV still only supports 1080p with 5.1 audio (via Boost), with no UHD or Atmos. As a long-term Sky Q user, I’ll be seriously disappointed if this turns out to be the case, and I’ll be returning the equipment immediately unless I can see/hear UHD & Atmos content.
Has anyone else had the same experience? Were you able to get any resolution from EE?

They told you it will, which is true.
I hope they didn’t tell you it does, which isn’t (yet) the case.

I was assured on two separate occasions that I would be getting UHD and Atmos, not in a future update but on the day of install. Had I known this was not the case, I would not have canceled my Sky subscription.
While we can discuss how EE TV may be cheaper compared to Sky TV, the two are not directly comparable, as they do not offer the same level of quality.

Having no UHD is the only thing aggravating me about EE TV at the moment and it’s letting them down badly, but other than that, and arguably the lack of Disney Plus. I totally believe EE is very comparable to sky for what you can actually get, especially if into sports… I’ve been a Sky Q customer for over 10 years. No complaints here.
