I have a fire tv stick 4k max (2nd Gen)
Fire os 8.1.0.6 latest version
I can log in to discovery plus website
When using app get invalid email address or password when trying to login
Is this working for anyone

It's the same login for all devices, and there's no possible way that an account could work on one device and not another. I can only suggest that you check what you're entering very carefully - maybe open an Incognito window in your browser and try logging in manually there (without using stored password), just to confirm the details are what you think they are.

Did you ever find a solution to this? We had this problem last year. Discovery were useless. Said they would get back to us and didnt. So cancelled subscription.
Signed up again this year and logged in fine. Now all of a sudden logged out and keep getting invalid email/password error on TV app. But can log into website fine.
I'm hoping you found a solution?

Are you able to change the password to a secure password that has no symbols in, just to test to see if it lets you log into the TV app and website?

I think discovery need to up their game, that should not be an issue! Especially when it used to be logged in with no problem and could log into the website. How very strange! But pleased it is working again....for now! 🤣
