Can’t wait live TV on EE TV app

Why can’t I watch live tv on the EE TV app on my iPad? I have recently changed from sky to EE as it was supposedly a better deal!

Hi @Shawny71 welcome to the community and thanks for posting, the subscription channels included with your EE TV plan can be accessed via the Now and Discovery+ apps.

Can't watch live tv on the ee tv app.

I have also left sky and moved to ee. But I want to watch live tv on the go and it seems we are unable too

The EE app doesn't allow that You will need to use the individual streaming apps on your phone e.g. Iplayer, Itvx player, channel 4 app, my5 app, uktv app, Watch free, discovery plus, Now apps

I’ve downloaded the Now tv app but how do I get a Now account as it is asking me to log in but can’t see where to register ?

What device have you downloaded it on? What  EETV Plan have you currently got? If it’s Sports, then your Plan has no Now component; if it’s anything else, you just log in to Now with the email address you use for EE TV, and you can use the Now components your Plan supports; Now Entertainment with Entertainment, Now Entertainment and Cinema with Big Entertainment, Now Sports with Big Sports, all three Now subscriptions with Full Works, possibly even Now Boost with the HD & 4K option.

If you want to upgrade to one or more of these, and you can’t do it in your EETV account, you will need to call EE to get this set up.

If you do have just Sports, and no Now via EETV, then you do have the option of going with Now direct; this can be cheaper, especially if you play the cancellation game, but will not allow you to watch or record the corresponding EPG channels. Though you can still watch, but not record, them in the Now app, on an EE TV device or on an independent one.

@Forest29 unfortunately the agent typed your email address incorrectly when creating your account, so your Now TV subscription cannot currently be used in the app.  Please email me at tv.apps@ee.co.uk and I can fix that for you on Monday morning.
