hi @DarrenDev

I think that  currently regular Apple TV,s   (Ie non EE TV subscription loan boxes)  when using the EETV app do appear to be counted as a set top box albeit one with a limited range of channels ( ie TNT Sports , Discovery, Asian World).  So they are not currently being treated as one of the  upto. four on  the go EETV  devices and don’t appear in the device management section of EETV apps on other devices.

welcome back.

Hi @Briandl64,

Welcome to the EE Community

Just to clarify with you mentioning it shows two set top boxes since the update, what is your TV box setup with us? Do you have an Apple TV box fn contact rom us and an EE TV box Mini?

Or do you mean you have your box on contract from us and have  purchased an Apple TV box separately from your EE TV contract and are just looking to use your EETV subscription on that one as well?

Alex

Hi Alex_H

Sorry about not clear on the said issue, I have a EE TV set top box contracted from EE and i was given as a gift a Apple 4k TV box , so I installed the apple box and then on the screen it states that i have two set top boxes so with my contract can i use both or just one

Thank you fro your help in this matter

Brian

(Removed previously incorrect reply).

You can use the Apple TV OK, however you will keep seeing that message on your TV Box after each time you use the EE TV app on your Apple TV.  It just means your active single subscription is being moved back and forth between devices.

Other than the inconvenience of that message on your TV box, the only impact to be aware of is scheduled recordings - if you have a recording scheduled for something from a subscription channel, it'll fail if the subscription is currently associated with the Apple TV.
