Aerial TV Not Working

We want to use the aerial, but no channels are found when we do the scan. We have checked the signal and that's fine, so why is the box not picking up channels?

@HampshireE-P if you’re getting nothing with the aerial plugged into the back of your TV then you have an aerial problem not an EE TV box problem.
