I've been a Small Business customer for years now and didn't have the intention to leave yet. I just got off a chat with a pre-sales person about upgrading but he or she (didn't give a name which is odd too) just stopped responding. I noticed a decline in customer focussed support before, but this has made me decide to switch to another provider. I'll wait today for a response... otherwise I leave.

I'm disappointed to hear that your chat conversation ended without discussing your upgrade further. Our support team would never ignore a message intentionally, and it could be that the chat has lost connection.
It's such a shame this has made you question staying with EE, and if we can do anything further to help, please reach out to our team over the phone directly.
I really do hope you'll take the time to call in and give the team a chance to put things right.

Connection was not lost. And the response I did get before the agent stopped responding was: "If it's on our website then that's it I'm afraid". So no beating the price. Sorry, will leave EE.
