Recently move to EE broadband from BT expected my phone data to upgrade to unlimited from 100gb as per the advert but it hasn’t changed.

@gwundaff It should change on your next monthly billing cycle as that’s when it refreshes.

No change on my billing cycle still 100gb
feel mislead. Maybe a small business thing although there was no mention in the garb.
anyone from EE want to pick this up?

Hi @gwundaff,
Do you mean your mobile is on a small business account? As small business accounts are not eligible unfortunately.
In order to qualify for the EE One unlimited data, both your EE Mobile and EE Broadband accounts need to be linked up to the same EEID for managing via the website or app. In order for both accounts to be linked to the same EEID the products have to be under the same account holder name.
Once both products are linked to the same EEID the unlimited data boost would be applied to eligible mobile plans within 24 hours of becoming eligible.

Thanks Alex,
I did scan the info before moving to EE from BT couldn’t find anything that discounted small business phone accounts.
Guess in their hurry to move us they forgot to mention it, or I didn’t look hard enough.
Both products are linked to the same EEID even though they different kinds of accounts.

@gwundaff Ah I see, I am sorry to hear that as I appreciate it will be disappointing. I can see what you mean regarding it not mentioning business plans specifically, its due to the help page for EE One Multi Product Benefits | About Unlimited Data | Broadband Help | EE being on the consumer version of the website so its only relevant to those type of plans.
Whereas we have a separate business website with help pages and plans specific for business accounts. Shop | Business Mobiles | Business Phone Contracts | EE Business where the offer is not advertised.
If when taking out the home broadband they had said you would get it, I would recommend giving our home broadband team a call to see what they can do to help. Alternatively it is also possible to move from a business account to a consumer account if that is something that would be an option for you, at which point your plan would become eligible.
