+44 7551 807916 i received a phone call and a what’s app message saying i coukd upgrade to iphone 13 pro max for £38 a month is this number associated with EE?

It's not on the EE safe number list on their help page. They certainly wouldn't use whatsapp to contact you.

 

It'll be a scam.

Welcome to the community.

That doesn't sound right to me either. If you would like to discuss upgrades, I would recommend calling 150.

Could you send a message to 7726 with details of the message, what it said and the number it came from please? That way or security team will investigate it.
