What does the official EE number look like on a text?

I have recently ordered a new SIM to move to EE, and have just received two different text messages claiming to be from EE, however the names appear as -EE-  with dashes or 'EE' in quotes. I am assuming these are scams as I would expect the actual EE company to appear simply as EE without any extra symbols.

The number did have some information regarding my order, however I guess they could have someone intercepted information sent over email.

Those look like genuine EE-originated texts to me. I've received messages from the network with both those from-names.

Or Just EE or ‘EE’.  Is from EE.  It’ll depend on what number they used to send that message from.

Hi @LdnRB2d

Thanks for coming here.

Have you placed an order and received a text message regarding the order?
