There's people impersonating as EE rep and try to take over my account!

I received two calls today from different numbers and wanted to request a 6-digit PIN code, which I gave away on the call. Their spill to get you gave away your account is they will provide some discounts from mobile + broadband. After that, when I received an email that my account's password had changed (RED FLAG!), I immediately dropped the call, blocked those numbers, changed my account back, and put in two-factor authentication. I feel they want to take over my account and order something expensive! Sadly, I gave away my email addresses. **bleep**!

Sorry to hear you were persuaded to give out your details. but just hang up on cold callers. Even if it was EE, call them back when you want to. Whilst some networks are trying to up-sell anti-spam add-ons, it may be built into your phone already or just don't answer numbers you don't recognise.
