Hello,
Can anyone advise if this is a scan message from number +44 7396702722 saying my direct debit has not been collected but payment is not due for some time yet

Thanks for coming to the community.
You are right to be suspicious of a text like this. This is definitely not a message from EE and looks like a phishing message as we'd not ask for details like this by text.
You can report a spam message by forwarding the text to 7726. Once you have done this I'd recommend deleting the message.

I'm not seeing the picture and after looking on Whocalledme web site the number has only been searched a few times with no feedback but to be safe don't click in any links in the message body and log into your ee account once the app update has finished and rescue your account, you would normally get a short ride message from ee and not a mobile number so treat text message as suspicious until confirmation received from ee customer service that you can contact by ringing 150...
